101+1 EXPO - CELEBRATING 102 YEARS OF ADC

2023 marks the 102nd anniversary of ADC, and it's the year where human creativity and generative artificial intelligence come together on a global scale. To commemorate this historic moment, the Art Directors Club has invited 101 artists to collaborate with AI in the 101+1 Expo - a global interactive event that explores the potential of human design + AI. This initiative required 101 identical containers to ensure unbiased conversation while providing individual space for each creator. It's an experience toward our unknown future and a reflection on what it means to be creative in the era of artificial intelligence. be creative in the era of artificial intelligence. The concepts of collaboration and individuality inspired the design system of this project.
Using variations of ones and zeros, we created 101 distinct sets of type which help to represent
the unique perspectives of our 101 participants. From our ever-evolving logo to our social assets,
we aimed to create a design system as alive as the AI integrated throughout this experience.
